Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (Jas 5:19-20) And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. (1Pe 4:8) if you love your friend you will try to convert him from the error of his sin, and this will hide a multitude of sins effect of one converting from the error of his ways Repentance Restitution Forgiveness And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
