Brethren, please think with me on this one: The Bible the word of God says My people perish from a lack of KNOWLEDGE. ~ Hosea 4:6 My take is that the word KNOWLEDGE in this verse is not KNOWLEDGE as we know KNOWLEDGE... simple put, in this verse KNOWLEDGE is not KNOWLEDGE as explained by earthly dictionaries... in other words the KNOWLEDGE mentioned in this verse is not a result of learning... which means theres KNOWLEDGE, then theres KNOWLEDGE and they both differ in meaning and application... If that is the case, we can conclude that it is possible for a person to have KNOWLEDGE and still lack KNOWLEDGE... Oxford and all dictionary compilers may not comprehend the KNOWLEDGE expounded in this verse... because unlike the other KNOWLEDGE that you get from learning... This one you may learn and know everything but still lack KNOWLEDGE... The danger is that if we dont know this KNOWLEDGE, we may not have it or know how to have it... in other words we stand to lack it... and when we lack it by default were perishing... perishing being an ongoing process (not an event)... What is this KNOWLEDGE???
