Brett OBerry Michael Torres Donnie Bristow El Duderino Brad McGrath David Latham Luke Barton Susan Anspach Tammy Flynn Heres my plan for losing 30 pounds in 30 days. 1) Drink 1 gallon of water per day 2) Cut my daily calorie intake down to 1000 calories per day - heavy on protein and light on carbs with moderate fat 3) High intensity interval training for 1 hour per day - sprint for a minute, rest for minute 4) Because I work from home on a computer - work while walking on the treadmill 5) Lift weights very heavily and once a week My hypothesis is that I will be in a calorie deficit of at least 3500 calories per day which is what it takes to burn a pound of fat. The calorie deficit will be as follows: 1,000 calories deficit from my BMR (basal metabolic rate) of the 2,000 calories I need per day. 950 calories deficit from the hour of HIIT - 825 from the sprinting (at 10 mph) and 125 from the walking (at 2 mph) - check healthstatus/calculate/cbc to calculate 1780 calories deficit from walking (2 mph) 7 hours per day while working. Ill have breaks and will actually work more than 7 hours, but thats how long I plan on walking while Im working. check healthstatus/calculate/cbc to calculate + additional calories will be burned from increased muscle from weight lifting. + additional calories will be burned from increased resting metabolic rate. My current weight is 202 pounds. My goal weight is 172 lbs. Im also using a paper calendar to track my progress and am posting here on Facebook to have accountability. I actually think that by executing this plan that I will burn more calories and lose more weight than this in this timeframe, but this is a conservative plan for me to hit my goal.
