Brian Lawrence I grew up in Kirkton before joining the RAF and serving twelve years in Lossiemouth, Germany and Leuchars. Since then I’ve worked mostly as an Inspector and Quality Engineer / Manager and am currently working as a Quality Engineer in Aberdeen with a major provider of brownfield services to the oil and gas industry. I’ve been a Dundee supporter all my life and like all of us I can’t seem to shake the club from my life; it’s in the blood and the 10% of times that are good seem somehow to make it all worthwhile. My confidence in the current DFCSS set up has never been high and I decided to go along to a DC meeting to see what it was all about. I was happy to see that the guys involved so far are just good, honest people who are looking to make a difference and to shape a better future for the society and ultimately for the club. My hope for the DC is that a sustainable society model can be formed that will allow the DFCSS to thrive and grow alongside the club. I would hope the DC can develop improved communication and management processes and can bring the support together and heal the divides that appear to have developed between the various factions within the Dundee support.
