Brian Lister 1926-2014 The Silverstone Classic would like to play tribute to Brian Lister who passed away on Tuesday (18 December) aged 88. Back in the Fifties, Lister created some of the greatest racing sports cars of his generation, many of which are still gracing events such as the Silverstone Classic today. What better way to celebrate his significant achievements than with some great photos of iconic Listers in action during the Stirling Moss Trophy race at last summer’s Classic. Indeed, Listers dominated the 50-minute showdown for pre ‘61 Sports Cars. Victory went to the #33 Lister Jaguar shared by Jason Minshaw and Phil Keen with the #41 Lister Jaguar Costin of Chris Ward finishing second.
