Visit his new support page here.] brian-1Brian was arrested on February 9, 2013 in Chicago for allegedly trying “to burn down a slaughterhouse known as McDonalds.” Negotiation Is Over has learned that days ago after serving a year in Cook County Jail, on February 3, 2014, he was convicted of aggravated arson and sentenced to 9 years in Stateville Prison. He was facing a possible 30-year sentence. It is unclear at this time whether he took a plea or was convicted at trial. Brian is also the third activist against whom a University of Florida vivisector filed ridiculous charges alleging he had been “threatened.” He was expected to be extradited to Florida to face these charges after he is finished with his legal issues in Illinois. If we support our warriors on the frontline of the Animal Liberation Movement and celebrate their actions, then we must embrace them even more when they fall into the hands of the state.
