Brians wife Lyn posted this yesterday on Brians recovery, He is working so hard to come back, cant wait to see him tomorrow night.............................November 4 Hello dear friends and family, Brian was discharged yesterday from CMMC. He was transported via ambulance to a rehab facility in Kennebunk, Maine. River Ridge Center is a facility that specializes in TBI rehabilitation. As you can imagine, the folks there are already impressed with Brian’s strength and willpower. He tries very hard to do everything they ask of him. He has only been in therapy for one day and he was trying to sit up by himself. He is very weak from being in bed for so long, but he will get his strength back. This facility will help him tremendously!! We are lucky to be here. Every day we are so thankful for the love and support from our family and friends. The fact that Brian survived this horrible accident is a miracle in itself. The fact that he is progressing so much every day is incredible. He recognizes friends and family who have come to visit. Even saying their names. I have no doubt that, some day in the near future we will walk in to CMMC together to thank all of the wonderful doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, cna’s, social workers and everyone who helped Brian to survive and come to this point in his recovery. He has a lot of work ahead of him, but we all know he will do it!! Please keep sending your love and positive energy to Brian in Kennebunk! Take care all, Lyn
