Bricks and walls As far as Romania is concerned, there are some pretty clear and distinct probabilities for the comming years: the West has shown a clear interest regarding the west provinces of Romania and about the Black Sea coast line, thus leaving the provinces east and south of Carpathians, till the Danube line, as a possible neutral area between them and Russia. Therefore, these provinces, together with the present day Republic of Moldavia and the part of Bucovina that is currently belonging to Ukraine, might become an independent state, probably organised as a monarchy(Mihai I, former king, will be happy, and also, by doing so, he would respect the management contract signed by his family when they were brought into Romania, that was reffering to a country formed only by those provinces), and due to the prevalent sympathy for socialism that the population from these provinces has, those will be mainly under Russias influence(around 60% at least). The present day Dobrogea province can be put together with Bulgaria, in a federal republic and EU member. Transilvania, Banat, Crisana and Maramures can form a self standing federal state within EU. This way a clear border and more solid line between West and Russia can be set, solving for West the vulnerabilities otherwise known in the area, and giving Russia some security space that they crave for. Also, such a concession, made at the right time, might save other EU and NATO allies like Turkey, Baltic states, Finland. Those stated above are clear to all parties involved. Well see what will happen in the following years.
