Bridge the Divide has always been an Open Group, and Im not sure - TopicsExpress

Bridge the Divide has always been an Open Group, and Im not sure how many people have noticed what this truly means. The options are: Open Anyone can see the group, whos in it, and what members post. Closed Anyone can see the group and whos in it. Only members see posts. Secret Only members see the group, whos in it, and what members post. Personally, Ive always been happy with being in an Open Group. I like the fact that our discussions are relatively transparent. However, some people seem more concerned about facebook privacy than I personally am. Keep in mind that your BTD activity isnt likely to show up consistently anywhere, unless one (or more) of your fb friends deliberately follows you to your BTD comments, via the right hand facebook feed. For example, if I google Greg S. Cassel Bridge the Divide, I get absolutely NOTHING, except for a comment I made at Annabels Story of America. However, it is true that your Bridge the Divide activity can technically be seen by anyone on facebook. Ive created this topic to publicize the way facebook groups work, and to receive any and all feedback from BTD members. Im not aware of this issue being seriously highlighted in past topics.
