Bridgette’s Spaghetti Squash with Homemade Marinara - TopicsExpress

Bridgette’s Spaghetti Squash with Homemade Marinara Ingredients: 1 medium Spaghetti Squash 1 can diced tomatoes (I use 2 cans, but I like A LOT of sauce) 1 can of tomato sauce (I use organic tomatoes & sauce) Seasonings/spices that you prefer to use. Suggestions: Garlic salt, oregano, basil, diced onion, chili powder or red pepper. Cut the spaghetti squash in half, remove seeds (like you would a pumpkin) with a large spoon. Place it face down in a glass pan with ¼ inch of water in the bottom. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. While its baking, place the tomatoes and sauce in a saucepan on high heat (can size depends on family size), add the seasonings and spices you like (I personally use Tastefully Simples Mama Mia Marinara Mix...but its got kick Im told - I like spicy). Once you have it to your preferred taste, bring it to a boil and then turn it down and let the sauce simmer while the squash cooks. When squash is done...it scrapes out of the hull VERY easily and looks like spaghetti. Top it with your sauce and serve.
