Brief mid-morning UPDATE: September 24, 2014 Thank your very much for e-mailing the Mayor, Council, Police Chief. They received many mostly polite e-mails. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed some on the council did consider a modified Saturday Streefest. However with the events of that night, there is little hope of having even a Saturday event. The Mayors and councils main concern has always been safety. Last nights violence only reinforced their thinking and decision. Several council voiced their disappointment as well. I ask you now to STOP any further efforts to contact the Mayor and council regarding this matter. I will post later on some more positive suggestions to move our city forward. Stay tuned!
