Briefing chaps...pay attention...few things to mention... 1. Weather looking a bit iffy for the weekend evenings so no suppers by the sea. Well make the most of it and put our feet up for a bit. 2. Reminder we cant take big groups. We are being bombarded by bookings of over 6...the last one was for 18. We cant do. 3. Bookings... we are in summer season now, so please make a reservation if you can in advance. By 10am on hot and sunny days well be pretty much full for lunch. Please dont text at 11.30 for a 12.30 booking for 8. Help us out so we can have a splendid table for you. 4. Seasonal produce...its as it says, seasonal. If its not in stock or heading to the end of the season its in less supply. Yes I know you could buy it in Tescos, but we support locally grown. So if its not about. We wont have it. 5. Our crab and lobster is local, but no we dont exactly know which pot it was pulled up from...yes...weve been asked! 6. NEW MENU...asparagus is dwindling, lots of lovely new bits coming through. New menu being rolled out this weekend. Smashing stuff. Best comment of the week last time we came the tide was out...where has the beach gone today?. Madam...the tide is now in. xxxx
