Bright and early in the morning Steven Duty will undergo surgery to perform pyloraplysty... His gastroperesis has worsened and only 10% of his stomach moves to empty in a 7hr period. It should empty in roughly 30 min. Where Stevens body is rejecting food the goal of this surgery isnt to make his stomach work (in medicine there is no cure for that but God can and will move what he wants so we keep believing for that miracle 🙏), but the goal is to help the muscle at the bottom of his stomach empty more food so that he can get more nutrition in his small bowel and prayerfully ease some of his cyclic vomiting so that he can have fewer days in the hospital and able to enjoy his life more. This surgery wont help his pancreas its totally separate. Please call out Stevens name at 9am and the Dr and all medical staff involved in Stevens surgery and care. My husband needs a Miracle and we are believing in the morning is the start of a brand new chapter. Please believe and seek with us that this pyloraplasty will give him some light thru a dark tunnel.
