Brighton Council held their Australia Day citizenship and awards ceremony this afternoon in Bridgewater. Five proud new Australians gave the oath to their new country and were presented with citizenship certificates and outstanding contributions to the Brighton community were recognised with presentations from Mayor Tony Foster. The Australia Day Ambassador this year address was given by the world class chef and passionate Tasmanian ambassador Tetsuya Wakuda. Congratulations to all involved.
