Bring Down The Enemy 2 KINGS 9: 1-13 “And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.” (2 Kings 9: 7). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When Jehu was anointed as King of Israel, God instructed him to smite the house of Ahab, and avenge the blood of His prophets and servants who were killed by Jezebel. Jehu’s elevation came with a divine assignment to exterminate evil from Israel. He was instructed to pull down the evil dynasty of Ahab and Jezebel. Jehu’s elevation was meant to cause losses for the enemy; Jehu’s elevation was meant to break the bondage of Baal worship; Jehu’s promotion was meant to facilitate the end of evil in Israel; Jehu’s manifestation was meant to bring the devil down. Friend, every divine manifestation God grants you is your platform to pull down the works of the enemy. Every promotion God grants you is your opportunity to destroy the works of darkness. Every new level you attain is an opportunity to perform a new assignment for God’s kingdom. There are lives tied to you, and your promotion is a platform for their freedom. Use your manifestation to promote God’s kingdom and pull down the kingdom of darkness. If God has put you in charge, then take charge and ensure that the enemy has no foothold in your territory; if God has raised you, let your elevation mark the end of the works of darkness, wickedness, falsehood, corruption, idolatry, immorality, etc. Your promotion isn’t an exemption from warfare; it’s an invitation for more warfare against the works of darkness. When your next level arrives, tear down the gates of the enemy. 1 John 3: 8 sums it up this way: “…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” Pray With Me: Lord, my elevation and manifestation will destroy the enemy, in Jesus’ name! Have A Blessed Tuesday!
