Bring it .. You can’t just ban Uthman Badar and Hizb ut-Tahrir. You have to discredit them. You achieve this through more debate, more speech. We have to meet his arguments with better arguments. That is the test of a liberal society. We should be able to handle the very worst, not by silencing them, but beating them in the war of ideas. It will cease to be a problem, however, when Uthman Badar and his followers relinquish their ideas. He wants to engage with liberal society intellectually, not with bombs. Let us engage him. We have convictions not easily altered. We have useful allies, too.
