Bristol UWE/Elitesquash PSL team suffered a 4-1 defeat in the West Country derby last night to Exeter Diamonds. Yathreb Adel represented us for the first time last night, and secured a 3-0 victory over Irish number 1 Aisling Blake! Jim Bamber gave all his efforts, but was up against a tough opponent, and lost to Tim Vail 3-0. Hadrian Stiff played psasquashtv commentator and ex world number 24 Joey Barrington. After going 2-0 down, Hadrian pulled a game back, and looked like a comeback could be on the cards, but unfortunately lost the 4th game 12-10 to go down 3-1. Dave Evans didnt have enough for Olli Touminen from Finland, and went down 3-0. The last match on was expected to be an exciting one, and they didnt disappoint. Mohamed Elshorbagy took on Omar Mosaad, in what was to be the first time two Egyptians had ever faced up in PSL. It was an absolute thriller of a game, that went all the way, but Mosaad won the match 3-2 taking a few more points for the Exeter Diamonds. So, a few more points in the bag, and onto the next match which is away again on the 19th November to Team Chichester.
