British Kashmiri, from Pakistan controlled part deserve special appreciation for standing up for their identity during Kashmir March and rejecting those tried to hijack and misrepresent them by making it pro-Pakistan rally. I thinks this yardstick should be applied to everyone whoever misrepresent diaspora abroad or people at home. There was misperception about diaspora from Azad Kashmir living in UK that they are all pro-Pakistani and subscribe least interest in identifying as Kashmiri, separate from Pakistan. The way youth was vocal about their identity was encouraging and sustained interaction with mainstream and youth can help to change perception among our population.
