Bro and his cousin, kaden playing some Bball. Love watching him play and be a kid! Well where to start? I waited for the administrator to call me yesterday about her conversation with Dr. S. But, you guessed it.. it never happened. But! His Nurse practitioner called me. Once again the information was all kinds of screwed up. After finally making her understand that that facility seriously needs to work on their communication skills along with their listening skills. It is so truly sad how our warriors care has dropped below acceptable since our beloved Dr. Hopkins stepped down. If there is one thing I ABSOLUTELY hate, is when a new Dr or NP in on Bros care talks down to me. I have studied, researched this disease till I cant see the pages anymore. I have stood by my son for almost 14 yrs for everyheart failure, asthma attack, brain bleed, stroke, seizure, life flight, MRI, MRA, angios, embolization, radiation, 15 different specialists... every single breath that baby takes I know it. I am a crazy protective mom. Even over my healthy children. When I have to prove a Dr wrong on my boys care I know they are NOT the Dr for our warrior. After the NP and I argured till I proved her wrong, she apologized. I asked her to get my sons records sent to NYC to Dr. B. her statement to that.. well, I dont know why you want to leave our practice. Dr. S said he feels he has done the best he could for how severely complicated your sons case is my answer. Its simple, I DONT TRUST ANYONE OF YOU! PERIOD!! she was speechless. Hopefully soon we will get this MRI done to try and begin to help Bro with his vision. I pray it is not to late because of their delay. As for checking on the AVM for his 1yr post Gamma.. all my prayers and hope goes into Dr. B. I pray every second of the day he is the answers to our prayers and can help our warrior.
