Brock Brereton 1966 – 2014 Brock Brereton, President of Eagle Business Products, Inc. and founder of Napkins-Only, died at home, surrounded by his family on December 3rd. He died of metastatic colon cancer which he battled mightily for two years. He was 48 years old. Brock was well-known in business community as a man of integrity. His love and passion for those he worked with, whether they were colleagues, customers, or suppliers, he always had a ready ear, a simple strength to bolster other companies or colleagues to help them get off the ground, and that amazing knack of always having business feel like family. Brock is survived by his wife of 24 years, Anna of San Jose and his two daughters, Emily Brereton, age 21 and Adeline Brereton, age 19 who attend UC Davis and UC Santa Cruz, respectively. A lifelong San Jose resident, he was born in Sacramento, CA to William Brereton and the late Jane Brereton. Brock graduated from Willow Glen High School in 1985 and served his country in the US Air Force as an A10 Tactical Aircraft Specialist with the Bushmasters 78th Tactical Fighter Squadron from 1985 to 1988. He was stationed in the U.K. at RAF Bentwaters-Woodbridge. While Brock enjoyed an occasional round of golf with family and friends, his true passion was bass fishing and rabbit hunting with his beagle, Cooper. Brock distinguished himself by earnestly trying to understand other’s beliefs, with his excellent sense of humor and, in social situations, by always warmly engaging the person in the room least likely to be engaged in dialogue. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th at 11:00am at Crossroads Bible Church, San Jose. Internment will immediately follow at Mission City Memorial Park, Santa Clara.
