Broke, Depressed, In Debt To $70K A Month I’ve been really quiet lately(especially if you’re reading this on my email list). Usually I’m sharing tips with you to build your business and sharing with you what I’m doing in my business, but these last few weeks have been a bit of a shocker for me because I’m finally getting to head home in 11 days after being in the Philippines for two straight years. It’s been extremely hard for me to be away for my family this long, but I told my mom when I left I wasn’t coming home until I was rich and she could quit her job. So I want to share with you how you can completely change your life if you make the choice to. I left for the Philippines March 16th 2012 with only $13k right after quitting my job and taking a major gamble to turn my life around. I was at the bottom of the barrel because I was $50k in debt from a drunk driver hitting me, had creditors chasing me and I was obsessed with killing myself. The original plan was to come here, work like hell and I would be home for Christmas. Yea…….that didn’t work as planned. At Christmas time I was broke, depressed and barely had the money to go home if I wanted to. Over the course of the next year my business went up and down. I had good months, I had bad months and then I even hit rock bottom and went broke again. Why? I had no real direction!!!!!! I was trying to run 3 different businesses, I didn’t have a real plan and I had no vision of what I wanted to achieve. Eventually after going from doing $20k a month to flat broke I had enough. I had to really decide what I wanted to achieve and how I was going to do it. That was when I realised a few things I want to share with you here. If you apply these few tips it will help you avoid the frustration and get results much faster than I did. These simple tips have helped me go from $0 to $70k a month and growing. 1.) You need a good business opportunity to promote(not 20). Pick one good opportunity and stick with it until you make it work. Don’t spread yourself between 5 biz ops because you will do none of them good. 2.) You need to focus on building your list. Nothing matters more than your list. Even if you’re a horrible marketer if you focus on building a big list you will make good money. Your goal should be to make money. It should be to break even when you buy traffic so you build your list for free and then reinvest to scale up. Do that for 6 months straight and you will make so much damn money you won’t know what to do with yourself. 99% of newbie marketers don’t get this right because all they focus on is making money. Real marketers know there focus needs to always be on building their list. 3.) Focus on building a relationship with your list. People buy from people they like, trust and resonate with. You need to inject your personality into your marketing, share tips on how you’re learning to build your business and focus on helping people get results as well. When people feel like you actually give a crap about them they will buy from you over the guy just mailing them a pitch. I spend 90% of my time helping other people, creating training for them to duplicate me and answering questions when people send me emails or FB messages. I’ve made myself very easy to reach and it’s paid off X1000. 4.) Reinvest your profits to scale up. Most people make a little money then spend it. I think about investing my money into my business before anything else. You can’t run a real business without reinvesting your money into your business to keep it going. Just because this is the internet doesn’t mean we are playing with monopoly money here ;) Focus on reinvesting your profits over and over to scale up your list. The bigger your list gets the bigger your income gets. It’s a very simple equation. Apply these few tips and you have a six figure business on your hands even if you’re a newbie.
