Bronco Nation Donors Honored at Ozona Halftime The 2013 sterling season for Bronco Nation 7on7 came to a close on Friday night during the ceremony with 7on7 student athletes honoring our sponsors. Norm Rousselot presided over the halftime ceremony which was announced in the stadium by the “Voice of Bronco Nation 7on7” Coach Clyde Dukes. Honored were the 31 financial sponsors without which this program would not exist. The 7on7 coaches and Executive Committee were also recognized for their tireless effort. The coaches for this most successful State Championship Program were Coaches Rollert, Dutton, Jimenez, Duran, Cross & Payne. Behind the scene was a wonderfully talented group of volunteers administering the program. They were Director Norm Rousselot, Sheba Castillo, Jimalee Dutton, Frank Wamble, Cindy & Ken Wimberley, Col Pete Bradley, Nancy & Ray Glasscock, official photographers for 7on7, and advisor Coach Creaton Phillips. Col Bradley was honored by the team, represented by Bronco Captains Chris Rendon, Brett Castillo, and Chance Campbell, with a plaque inscribed “Thank you for making the dream possible” (referring to the great run at the 7on7 State Championship). The program also ushered in the 2014 7on7 season as Lions Club President James Hartman presented a $1000 check to kick off the fund raising for The Bronco Nation 7on7’s next campaign. It should be noted ”No Sonora Independent School funds are used for 7on7.” Donations for this program can be made at the Bank & Trust. Checks made out to Bronco Nation 7on7 can also be mailed to 201 Hilltop St Sonora Tx. 76950. Thanks all for your support!
