Broncos HEAD COACH JOHN FOX after practice today: On if facing unfamiliar interconference opponents like the Cowboys “Yeah, that works both ways—we’re unfamiliar to them as well. Again, you have plenty of evidence on tape—you study it, you break it down. You have a game plan then you look to execute it the best you can. So that won’t be any different.” On if the way the secondary has been playing has allowed the team to be extra patient with CB Champ Bailey’s return “Yeah, I think sometimes circumstances might create poor judgment. The fact that they’ve played well has allowed us to use good judgment. We’ll continue that with him, and I’ll remind everybody he’s a 12-time Pro Bowler, I think a first-ballot Hall of Fame guy. We’re looking forward to getting him completely healthy and get him back in the lineup.” On Bailey’s progress “Very good. He’s improving every week, day to day. As far as any decision it will be a game-time, hour-and-a-half before kickoff decision. We’ve still got time to make that evaluation.” On LB Danny Trevathan’s injury scare “It was a scare, and rightfully so. What happened to him would have scared anybody. We were very blessed and fortunate that it ended up real good. He’ll be fine.” On if it was good to see LB Steven Johnson step up when Trevathan was potentially injured “No doubt. Stevie’s been very impressive for a guy that was an undrafted college free agent, much like [CB] Chris Harris. Actually, they both went to the same school (Kansas). He made a big play in the game last week against Philadelphia blocking the punt, and then scooping and scoring himself. He’s a good young player that means a lot to him and that doesn’t surprise me.”
