God help us...Our movements have become mountains impassable and impossible to climb. Our prophets are now philosophers that disparage and soft-pedal Gods holy word. Missions is grossly minimized, reaching the lost is no longer paramount and pastors have become mere marshals to an endless parade of meetings. We excuse our deplorable condition with a subterfuge of doctrine diminishing our spiritual decline as our cities lie bankrupt and shipwreck addiction ravaging our youth like a plague. We have privatized a Message that was meant for all Creation in our conferences and convocations as billions careen into oblivion unreached and unloved. This generation of politically driven Christianity that has replaced power with politics and a voting booth for their prayer closet has epitomized the prophet Amoss admonition to Israel, You sing idle and trivial songs chanting to the sound of stringed instruments and fancy yourselves to be great musicians like David. You drink wine by the bowlful and perfume yourselves with fragrant anointing oils but you care nothing about the ruin of your nation. Suddenly, all your parties will end...
