Brothers, an update from Bro. Mike Rushin: Renea update: now, that the immediate family knows; Renea received some unwelcome news from the Oncologist. The cancer has spread to the lining around her brain as well as the previously mentioned lower back/spinal cord area. This situation is life threatening according to the doctor. She will receive another direct chemo injection next week and the spinal fluid will be tested for active cancer cells. Also, the brain tumor that shrunk from 2.9 to 2.3 has grown to 2.6. It would appear that the $12K per dose chemo has failed (for the direct treatment of the brain). Beyond next week (in terms of treatment), I do not know at this time what the next steps will be.
