Brothers and Sisters, If you plan on voting absentee, you need to request your ballot by Thursday, October 30th in order to receive it and cast your vote, which must be completed and returned to your town clerk by Tuesday, November 4th at 8pm. Every vote will count towards electing pro-worker candidates, and we want to make sure your voice is heard. Turnout will be high in this election, and if you would like to vote early, you can still vote in person at your town hall until Thursday, October 30th. If you’re planning on voting absentee, but haven’t submitted your request, you have until Thursday, October 30th to do so. After Thursday, October 30th, you can only request an absentee ballot by filing a special circumstances application, which will only be available for four reasons: • An unexpected absense from the municipality during the entire time the polls are open on Election Day • A physical disability • An inability to travel to the polls because the voter is a resident of a coastal island ward or precinct • An incapacity or illness that has resulted in the voter being unable to leave home or a treatment facility Have a friend who needs to request an absentee ballot?
