Brothers and Sisters, This is part 5 of a series of postings about the dangers of the so called “Progressive Church” in the United States; which is extending its philosophy of “Soul Murder” to the entire world. The title of this fifth post is “Money is for nothing but soul murder. Our key verse is word of the LORD; i Peter 5:2 “Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight [thereof,] not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; {5:3} Neither as being lords over [God’s] heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.” Filthy lucre. During the first 100 years of the church, what we call the first century church, the fathers there of were very cautious in dealing with money. They understood the dangerous swey money could have over a church’s direction; especially if that money was tied to the state...back then it was Imperial Rome. The church was heavily persecuted, partially because it gave some political advantages to evil despots like Nero and more significantly because the early church was an exclusive church holding course to the one true God and Savior Jesus Christ. To the pantheist Romans, Christianity was an abomination. But back then, Christianity was a single movement with a single doctrine who met in small unassuming homes and small congregations. Today however, the church is fractured, filled with leavened doctrines, in buildings too large and drowning in filthy lucre. Filthy lucre drives the “Progressive Christians”, their gospel is all about having filthy lucre. Filthy lucre for social causes, filthy lucre to give to favorite politicians, filthy lucre to support sodomy, filthy lucre to pay the church bills, filthy lucre tied to the state and the world who what? Hate Christ. filthy lucre is an abomination to the LORD; it replaces him, it replaces his gospel, it perverts his gospel, it becomes an idol. The LORD says “Do NOT set before my EYES your filthy idols which I HATE!” The word “Lucre” itself means “vile increase and foul money.” Look in I Samuel chapter 8…” And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: [they were] judges in Beer-sheba. And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.” Samuel’s sons were judges and they took filthy lucre, drank from cups of evil and perverted judgments. When Judges take bribes and filthy lucre, they destroy judgment. When pastors and progressive wolves take bribes and filthy lucre to twist the scriptures...they commit soul murder, mass murder, THEY KILL THEIR CONGREGATIONS AND MURDER MEN! When money, when getting profits into the pew box becomes more important than getting lost people convicted, fighting sin and standing for the word of God...you make your church a death house and your words the firing squad for lost souls! Word of the LORD; I Timothy 3…”This [is] a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?” There’s that “filthy lucre” again. “progressive christianity” is also known as “prosperity Gospel” and prosperity churches deny Christ, deny the Revelation, deny sin and put riches before Christ; these filthy workers WILL GO TO HELL! A filthy fool wrote…” In Alabama 700 people gather to hear an Episcopalian author talk about why Christianity must change or die” A scumbag lucre chaser making money off of some blasphemous book deal while committing soul murder and telling a congregation that Christ is dead. I tell you my friends, I really have to fight and pray hard not to lose my emotions and punch out a wall over these filthy Christ haters. When your church is chasing filthy Lucre? It’s time to get out or get in the pastors face and tell him he’s on the fast bullet train track to hell. It’s the lucre or its the Christ, there is no middle ground.
