Brothers and Sisters, We have set the dates for 2015 summer mission trip to Nicaragua. We depart June 27th and return July 4th. We need someone to teach a womens conference, a construction team to help with an addition to a church, street evangelism, discipleship, kids VBS type of outreach, Childrens Bible study each night at the churches we will be preaching at, and a nightly outreach service where team members can give testimony, sing, and share the gospel. We need volunteers to go and serve alongside of us. We realize that going to Nicaragua is a sacrifice. Our desire is to make this mission trip as affordable as possible. The trip is well organized and all of your meals, lodging, transportation, translators, and trip administration is provided. We will ask each group that desires to serve on our construction team to help us raise financial aid to help purchase the building materials. Last year we raised $1000.00 and built a large wall for a church and put tin on and entire building that is now being used for Sunday School classes. The cost is $875.00 plus the cost of the Delta plane ticket. Today the ticket for those flying from Dayton, Ohio was $649. Flying out of Birmingham is $753.00. If you fly straight out of Atlanta the ticket was $564.00. I am booking a ticket today for me straight from ATL. It will be worth the drive over to save over $200.00. I will be in Nicaragua in February getting all the details of the summer trip ironed out and in place. However, I would strongly encourage you to go ahead and purchase your tickets ASAP to secure a lower price. If we have over 10 people go, I can get us a group rate that may delay the payments over a period of time. But I would need to get a $100 deposit from you ASAP. That deposit can roll over to the final ticket amount as long as we remain over 10 people.
