Brothers and sisters: No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit. As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God at work today. Nothing we can do without the Holy Spirit. God is involved in our World and our lives through the Holy Spirit. Every day each of us should say this prayer; Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Let us pray: O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Hermanos y hermanas, Hermanos: Nadie puede llamar a Jesús “Señor”, si no es bajo la acción del Espíritu Santo. Hay diferentes dones, pero el Espíritu es el mismo. Hay diferentes servicios, pero el Señor es el mismo. Hay diferentes actividades, pero Dios, que hace todo en todos, es el mismo. En cada uno se manifiesta el Espíritu para el bien común. Porque así como el cuerpo es uno y tiene muchos miembros y todos ellos, a pesar de ser muchos, forman un solo cuerpo, así también es Cristo. Porque todos nosotros, seamos judíos o no judíos, esclavos o libres, hemos sido bautizados en un mismo Espíritu para formar un solo cuerpo, y a todos se nos ha dado a beber del mismo Espíritu. El Espíritu Santo es Dios trabajando hoy. Nada podemos hacer sin el Espíritu Santo. Dios interviene en nuestro mundo y en nuestras vidas a través del Espíritu Santo. Todos los días cada uno de nosotros debe decir esta oración: Ven, Espíritu Santo, llena los corazones de tus fieles y enciende en ellos el fuego de tu amor. Envía tu Espíritu y todo será creado. Y repuebla la faz de la tierra. Oremos: Oh Dios, que has iluminado los corazones de tus hijos con la luz del Espíritu Santo; haznos dóciles a sus inspiraciones, para gustar siempre el bien y gozar de su consuelo.
