Brothers and sisters in Christ: There are many tragedies unfolding in our world everyday that merit our prayerful attention. None come close to the horrors of the extermination of Christians in Iraq by the Muslims of ISIS. I just took down a photograph of several men who had been beheaded for the crime of being followers of Christ. It was shockingly graphic, and at the urging of several friends, I took it down. It was deemed to be TOO shocking. Indeed, it was. These are real people, friends, and fellow followers of our Lord. I ask that you consider doing the following: Firstly, pray without ceasing for the lives and souls of our brothers and sisters who are being destroyed for our faith. Secondly, please call, write, or email your congressmen and the President and urge them to act to stop these violent and merciless Muslims. Our nation HAS the capability to stop them. Tell our government that we have the will, in the name of our Lord, to do so. May God make His presence known to all of the persecuted Christians in the Mid-East and Africa.
