Brothers of the Wind MC has struggled the last few years. We started out with the tight bond of two brothers who were fused together by the tragedies of life. After a few years the club grew quickly and many took the oath required to be a member. In 2007 one of the two founding brothers was killed in a motorcycle accident. His death rocked the club as he really provided the cohesion for all the members in his area. The club faltered and we quickly discovered members who claimed to be men of honor, failed to keep their word, failed to abide by their oaths and were never real members. So, we were faced with a decision, let the club go and become a memorial to our fallen brother, or start over. We have chosen to start over, those calling themselves brothers today are truly that. We are committed to the club for life. We took our oath, we are men of honor and we will not falter, ever! Even though we are very small now, we are pure we are strong. We still want to grow but we are going to be much more careful about the men we consider. We are starting again with new colors, new patches, our center patch is an icon for Aeolus (Greek God of the Wind). We begin again to have our “Hurricanes”, our annual club rides, which we have missed for the last two years. Once again, Brothers of the Wind MC is and forever will be “Fortis et Liber” (Strong and Free).
