Brothers of war, company C, has left me with many emotions. The first being an overwhelming renewed respect and greater love for our Vietnam Vets. During the film I felt them all: heartbreak, pain, unworthy and anger. I know it is only a small part of Charlie companys tour but damn, I thought I understood before watching but now I couldnt have. To see actual home movie footage filmed by one of the Soldiers. The courage to keep going after recons and losing brothers is indescribable. I had a sadness in me for their losses. Im thankful for the opportunity of seeing this film. I urge all civilians to watch it so that no Vet will ever feel unappreciated or thanked. We are truly unworthy of this kind of love they gave for our freedom. If you ever feel compelled to judge a Vet or speak against What they survived and lost in Nam you better watch this first. Because you will be put in your place. Because from my point I dont know that I would have been half the men these guys are. I cant make simple decisions some days. Much less what they had to do with a shots notice. I am grateful to our Vets. So much so.
