Brought tears to my eyes This will sound strange to most. But I - TopicsExpress

Brought tears to my eyes This will sound strange to most. But I make no apologies for it. When I was still a teenager in Korea, I would often hear some elderly Mamasan praying and chanting to her God early in the morning in her shack. I have watched her put her idol upon a stand as she bowed with her face touching the floor and burn insense as she prayed to her God. Lasting for 30 min or longer. There were times that I would be awakened by her praying and I was so lost in deep sin. As I lay there, there were times that years would fill my eyes and run down the side of my face. Did I believe in her God? Ten thousand times NO. I believed in Jesus us but was so deep in sin and felt so condemned. But she loved her God and was faithful to pray every morning and evening. But the fact that I heard someone praying caused tears many times. I was afraid to pray to The Lord for I felt there was no hope for me. Hearing someone praying and worshiping idols even touched my soul. It is strange how God works to deal with the lost as I was at that time. There was no power in her prayer but it brought conviction to my heart. How blessed we are to know the One who created all things by His Word. The Lord Jesus kept me through all the war and let me live to come home and become a Son through the new birth of The Holy Ghost. The Lord is dealing with souls where ever they are and in strange circumstances. Thank you Heavenly Father for loving me, even in my sin.
