Brown Bowlers Magic Lantern - new occasional post from the official Emporium YouTube page: At a recent auction my friend Mr.Clifford spotted a mysterious package inside a general box of tat. It had been posted from China and was still sealed. What might this puzzling package contain we wondered? A Ming Emperors slippers perhaps? Maybe an ancient scroll, rare netsuke and inro collection or a Qianlong vase. Mr.Clifford waited patiently and when the lot came up he battled nobody at all and purchased it for £1 - plus commission of course so thats a £1.18 gamble he was taking here. We went outside and he agreed that this should be filmed. He we go, could you be about to witness a moment of Howard Carter proportions....
