We have trained Metering, Engineering, Line, Purchasing Agents and some CEO’s. Our classes are a ‘How to do” strictly focused on training, no sales format what so ever. We want your folks to learn and be able to apply it to their jobs. The number of participating students over the last 14 years has been great. (Over 12,000 training-man-hours). Description: Students will learn how to work with metering equipment safely. Discussions on Instrument Transformers and Meter Bases. Hands on checking the meter socket for safe installation of a meter. Metering 101a – The Foundation of Metering BESco Staff 10:30 – 2:00 P.M. Description: Basic Metering Terminology, Moving forward to Solid-State Meters from Mechanical Meters, Metering Math, Meter Forms, Basic Demand and Power Factor principles and Meter multipliers. Participation: Recommended for new Metering personnel in addition to review for experienced Metering personnel. Please bring your calculator. Special Emphasizes will be on sizing your metering to the load properly.
