Bruce and Lisa Beerbower need our help! Bruce is a 1984 graduate of GLCC and Lisa is a 1985 graduate. On July 18, Bruce was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The subsequent chemotherapy forced him to quit work in August. While Bruce will be able to apply for Social Security and long term disability, the loss of income combined with increased expense of COBRA insurance will force the family to dig into retirement savings- unless they get some help. WE ARE ASKING ALUMNI TO SHARE THIS NEED WITH YOUR FRIENDS! Bruce and Lisa Beerbower have been members of the Tri-city community most of their lives, and when it comes to supporting others, they do not think twice. Having fostered 30 children over the years, this is a family that has done more to help kids in need than most of us can imagine. Giving isn’t something the Beerbowers do, it’s who they are. Health Enhancement System and Cancer Services of Midland are organizing The Polar Bear & Cub Crawl fun run and silent auction on Saturday December 6th, 2014.
