Bruce took me out last night, first to dinner at an American restaurant called Detroits, then on a ghost walk. It was a lot of fun. We learned some things about some of the historic buildings that we didnt know...for example, Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway at St. Martins in Worcester. We ended the tour at a building called The Commandery where I was treated to some medieval paintings! The Commandery was originally founded as a hospital by St. Wulfstan in the 11th century...and its supposedly haunted by a mad Scottish General :-) Our guide cautioned us as we crossed the street saying that a guide was tragically killed several years ago at the site...when we ended the tour mulled wine was offered to us...there was a poster in the room with the tour guides pic...it said In memory of ___ who tragically died while conducting the ghost walk tour...blah, blah, blah...lol...she was nowhere to be found after that! worcesterlive.co.uk/ghostwalk.asp
