Brummbär culinary tips...an occasional series. A friend of mine in Amsterdam went to a meat course and told me that the chef has a pot on the stove full time into which he puts all bones and non starchy scraps, including egg shells. I have been doing this for about 6 weeks now and every time I need stock it is there. After about a week I sieve out the scraps and bones and freeze any unused stuff. It costs nothing apart from a bit of electricity . Its a homemade miracle!
