Brutal Honesty while reflecting on the reality of my Divorce.... when I had my friends helping me move - and I was packing stuff up... it slammed me how much Stuff we had accumulated over the years that was just there Stuff that we probably hadnt touched in YEARS.... much less months... things we had forgotten to see the beauty in as we settled into daily routines... The almost hording attitude on silly stuff that... in the end... neither cared if it stayed or got thrown out. Good Memories associated with a lot of them... but a ton of it I asked myself... why the heck did I get that. With the Rescue Tech Job I have and living on the road, and in a hotel, for months on end - I think to what is currently at that house my stuff is in.... there is a lot that will NOT stay... As time passes I am learning that you fill the house with Love - that is what matters... probably the Only thing that matters... well... that and a good mattress to sleep on... but you get the idea ;-) Trust me when I saw I would gladly give it ALL up to help change the hands that fate dealt us... This was a severely costly lesson for me to learn,,,, and i it helps someone wake up... then my duty as a friend has been done.... :-)
