Couldnt punch my little shell out through the Gate, felt like riding a roller coaster while being blasted by a firehose. Retreated back into the Bay, tried to hold course with cockpit swamped, waves 1-2 ft. Abandoned the course, enjoyed whitecaps, tidal rips, ferry wakes and a headwind home.
