Bryan L Bacon, I thank you for being such and awesome vessel of God’s word!! Too often I take you for granted. Too often I may tell you what’s wrong instead of just telling you how much I appreciate you. (Giving the men big bowls and not the women) Too often I ask you to meet my needs instead of looking to meet yours. I want to share my appreciation and affirmation that each sermon is more than enough for me to be encouraged, to continue with God’s will for me. I don’t want to just tell you, “Dude, I loved the service, it really made me think.” :) There are occasions I don’t even always agree with every word you say but I always take it, research it, read about it and I will admit, most of the time apply it. John 13:7 is a perfect reference for me in situations like this. I have learned, more so in the past 6 months, that the closer I am in my relationship with God, the better I understand and realize that although I may have read or heard a particular word of His a gazillion times…He presents it, in clarity, when it is time for me to receive and “Get it”. Whether I am in attendance or not, I grow each week because of something you or a church family member has said or done. Each week, you could have preached anything you wanted although. every week you teach the Bible. You use humor and illustrations, and you do it well as you take us to the Word. Thank you for being your quirky self. You and your family are always in my prayers. If nobody has told you today how much they love you, I am beyond stoked to say, I do!
