Bryan Tait When I heard the news of the death of Mr Bryan Tait , I was truly saddened. I wanted to sya some words but didnt know what , perhaps still dont but I will try my best . Bryan, as well as being a great cornet player and truly a gentle man , was in every sense a true bandsman. He gave TOTAL COMMITMENT AND total LOYALTY and was totally selfless. He would play anywhere in the section , play anything and do anything if it was going to be for the betterment of the band. He knew the band was more important than any individual. Brian is the bandsman that we should all aspire to be , truly an inspirational figure. I truly believe he is promoted to glory and up there playing in a cornet section with Brian Evans on soprano , and a front row of Messrs. Murphy , Watson , Watkins , Lang and Bryan with that smile on his face. So yes , we all have sadness, but let us all as a brass band movement , CELEBRATE the life that is the bandsman BRYAN TAIT .
