Bryan has been off life support for 24 hours now. He has sustained severe damage to his left side and a large part of the brain stem. We are seeing two things happen: 1. He is breathing on his own. The doctors have explained that breathing is the most basic brain function, and does not require much activity to perform. 2. He has opened his eyes. This is known as a minimum conscience state or MCS. doctors tell us that there is a 99.9% chance that this is all he will ever be able to do without a miracle. He is not out of the woods, he has a high fever and extremely high blood pressure. Please pray that God will not leave him in this state.
