Bryce Harper. can we put to rest the idea that he is over-rated. I saw Mickey Mantle when I was young and saw him maybe hit 10 -12 HRs in person. Every time he came to the plate there was an anticipation that you were about to see something that few could do as well. Harper brings that same excitement. In those old old days,they didnt have sports on ESPN and no highlight films on the news. One game a week on TV and it was a local team. I only saw Willie Mays in All Star games and one World Series. We knew how good he was because of box scores and reading sports pages. Today we have Trout vs Harper. Then it was Mantle or Mays. There are a lot of similarities in the comparisons. I have seen Harper hit 6 HRs in person and nobody hits it harder or farther just like The Mick. Trout and Mays do it all and are very similar. Bryce will be 22 next week.
