Bubbas Diner Broad St Sumter,SC 7-10-14 Old Applebees I took my lunch break today at a new place in town. Its called Bubbas Diner. I hit there right before noon and who greeted me at the door? Bubba He was the one that seated me at the table. He told me that someone would be right with me. It was a waitress that I recognized from another diner, so I knew that I hit the jackpot because shes good. The menu was already on the table. The place was immaculate. She brought me my sweet tea and I ordered the chicken bog, lima beans, tater salad, cone bread. For you people from up North, you wouldnt get this. I timed her. 2 minutes and 48 seconds I had my food. I cant describe how good it was. To top it off, she kept my tea glass full. She didnt even ask me. Just went ahead and filled it up. Thats southern hospitality. When its a hundred degrees outside, you dont ask a man if he wants more tea, you just give it to him. I had all that good country cooking, good atmosphere, TV to watch and it was only 8 bucks even. Tax and all. WOW Let me also tell you all something else. They have a donut factory right there in da middle of the place. I went over there and got me a hot glazed doughnut. Now these doughnuts are a brand named Southern Maid doughnuts. I heard that Elvis Pressley only made one commercial in his whole life, and that commercial was for Southern Maid doughnuts. This doughnut has a flavor like none other. I cant describe it. Maybe a little touch of vanilla flavoring. They call it the Magic Doughnut because it melts in your mouth. Friends and neighbors, you have to go and try this place out. Now its only opened from 6 am to 3pm but I would recommend this place to everyone, The service, food,price and atmosphere is like none other. I know that people are going to say that I give places that I like a lot an excellent grade so Im working on my grading system. But out of all the places that Ive been too since I started this site, this place is number 1 by far. I tried to find a fault and couldnt . Rating A +
