Bucket Challenge: Over the past two weeks or so, I have seen in the media where folks from all strata of society in America and now in the Bahamas and other copycat countries - indulging in the Ice Bucket challenge. Essentially this questionable practice is somehow connected to an attempt to raise funds for the Disease ALS. What has quickly come to light is the degree of Machismo, that is attached to it. There are also a number of theories as to what this practice is connected to, even some racial overtones. One cannot deny the popularity of the voluntary dousing of themselves by all and sundry. I have a suggestion that is more of a challenge, can do wonders for the whole world and is certainly more beneficial. I appeal to everyone reading this to take the challenge of accepting Jesus Christ as Saviour and be washed in His precious blood. Are there any takers out there, bold enough ???
