Bucs hope to bury Al Ahly ORLANDO Pirates hope for a feast of goals when they host Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the first leg of the African Champions League final at Orlando Stadium on Saturday night. This is according to Pirates joint assistant coach Tebogo Moloi after their training session at Rand Stadium yesterday. Saturdays showdown will be the third meeting between the two sides in this tournament. The Buccaneers won the first leg 3-0 in the group stages in Egypt in August while the sides drew 0-0 in Soweto last month. We are playing at home on Saturday and have no business to lose the match. The approach will be to attack and avoid conceding, said Moloi. Our plan is to win the match and score lots of goals. When the tournament started in February, we made it clear to South Africans that we would bring the second [gold] star back home. We are only two matches away from winning this tournament for the second time. We want to assure South Africans that we will deliver on our promises. Pirates administration executive Floyd Mbele said: Its the big one for us and we have to win Saturdays game without conceding. We want to make sure there is no pressure when we go to Egypt the following weekend. Our preparations are going well and we are ready for Al Ahly. Mbele said the Egyptians will arrive in South Africa today. Pirates will rely on players like Lennox Bacela, Daine Klate and Andile Jali to upset the seven-time champions. They will also rely on in-form goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa to thwart any scoring attempt from the north Africans. Kickoff is at 8.30pm.
