Another man holds drumsticks and motions them as though he were playing drums. Presumably, this is the music group Bud Rice and His Original Kentucky Night Hawks. They were a band based in Lexington or Nicholasville, Kentucky. Jack Purvis was trumpet player and the composer of Dismal Dan and Down Georgia Way. Creator William B.
