Young Sidharth is readied for the first visit to maha sabha ...the court of Maharaj Shuddhodhan Siddharth shows for the first time his kindhearted ness, his wisdom and sacrificial nature in his first visit to the court ... Money lender accuses poor farmer of not returning his dues ... Farmer protests that he did return small amounts regularly and wants some more time ... Money lender denies receiving anything ... Devdutt is asked by Maharaj for his opinion .. He orders punishment to the farmer for failing to return his dues ... But Siddharth investigates .. He takes gold coins from the pouch of money lender and floats immerses them in water .. Oil floats on surface which are from the farmers house .. Proves that the farmer had indeed returned some part of his dues .and the money lender was lying .. He orders ten lashes to the money lender and cancels all his dues ... The court praises prince Siddharth .. Shuddhodhan is worried that Siddharth takes all his decisions from the heart and was wise ... He did not behave like a warrior king ... But like a noble person Prince Devdutt is angry that siddharth was praised and not him ...his father Dronadhana plans a saazish to take his revenge ... He forges the royal seal ...and issues false orders ... He tries to hurt Siddharth but one sarthi putra saves him all three get hurt in the process Siddharth is told about the untouchable status of the sarathi putra ... But Yuvraj refuses to treat him differently .. He says he too was equally hurt . And applies lape (ointment ) on his wounds himself ...Mahadevi Prajapati is stunned with the kindness and humanitarian approach of Siddharth ... The Maharaj , Mahadevi and Yuvraj perform ...yagna for the bountiful produce in the next harvest ... The kings Sister arrives on elephant back accompanied with her daughter Yashoda ... Mahadevi liked her very much ... Following the yagna celebrations follow in which Devdat irritates the elephant who gets angered and runs amock kills some, injures many .. There is pandemonium ... But Yuvraj Siddharth pacifies the raging elephant ... All the villagers courtesans shout the jay jay kaar of their Yuvraj .. Devdutt his mother Mangala and dad Dronadhana are very unhappy with their failure ... The king in his bid to shield the prince from old age sufferings, poverty, diseases he refuses to send him to gurukul takshashila ... But invites all the scholars inside the fort ...
