Buddhist Preaching: There is no fire like lust, no vice like hatred, no trap like delusion, and no galloping river like craving (Desire) People criticize the silent ones. They criticize the talkative ones. They criticize the moderate ones. There is no one in the world who escapes criticism. Those who practice restraint in body, word, and mind are surely in control of themselves Where there is anger, apply loving kindness. Where there is evil, offer good. Where there is stinginess, be generous. Where there are lies, be truthful. If we look like Buddhists and talk like Buddhists and sit on a cushion like the other Buddhists, then we think we are automatically followers of the Buddhas teachings. But all these concepts are cutting us off from the utter simplicity of the Buddhas example and message. We could be perfect in the performance of a thousand rituals, and they could all be empty of all meaning or benefit if we dont connect with our heart. If were not developing our awareness in our everyday life, then were missing the point. No rituals are required. Serving humans and preserving nature is POOJA to GOD Live simple life - give grate service - retain human values - work without fear or favour
